Best Diet Plans
Having a good plan can make following a real food diet so much easier…
…but how do you choose the right plan?
With so many diets out there competing for your attention, it’s hard to select one that you know will meet your needs.
What I’ve tried to do here is take some of the guesswork out of it for you. I searched through the sea of available diets to find several that I would feel good about recommending.
Some Quick Real Food Diet Reviews
Below, you’ll find a short description of three plans that meet my healthy “real food” criteria — I personally own and have reviewed all three. Each one is a little bit different, but any one of them would be a great choice for getting you started.
Take a look — if you want to learn more, you can follow the links to see more blog posts on each diet.
#1. The Diet Solution
This one is really my favorite…and you can’t go wrong here. This is a really comprehensive plan built by an expert in nutrition and exercise physiology. Based on her own experience with clients, the plan addresses health challenges such as high cholesterol, diabetes, and heart disease, as well as weight loss.
You get a quick start guide, a complete manual, recipes, meal plans, a shopping guide, and more. Plus — you get some great emails — lots of motivation, helpful tips, and bonus information. Of the three plans, this one’s the best for keeping you engaged — and it’s a bargain.

#2. Healthy Urban Kitchen
Well…this one’s really good, too! Created by a certified nutrition and wellness coach and personal trainer, this program does a great job of explaining how your diet affects your health. If you have an interest in learning about the negative effects of food allergies and toxins, you’ll like this one.
Although it’s labeled as a cookbook, Healthy Urban Kitchen actually goes way beyond that. The plan includes a great basic manual, along with several other supplementary reports and audio files.
While it does include a great selection of recipes, it also features loads of tips on how to create a healthy eating system. He covers organizing your kitchen, shopping, meal planning, and cooking methods as well.
This would be a good choice if you want a very concise plan. It is quite short-and-to-the-point, but still does a fantastic job of covering the everything you need.

#3. Your Plate Your Fate
This plan is probably the most information-packed of the three — and also the least “diet-like”. It was created by a nutrition and natural health expert who used this information to address her own health problems. It focuses on explaining the multiple ways food affects your health, as well as how to make the right food choices.
The program is organized into seven separate books and three bonus reports. She covers antioxidant and organic foods, low-glycemic foods, and the right kinds of fats to eat. She also goes into digestive health, proper cooking methods, and how to stock your kitchen. Last, but not least, there’s an overview and quick start guide – and the whole program is backed up by a very extensive website.

This one offers lots to read, but if you have the time, it will get definitely get you on the right track, and give you a truly sound understanding of why you want to be there. It’s a great choice if you’re serious about improving your health through your diet. This one is a bit more expensive than the other two, but if you’re an information sponge, this one’s for you.
